Every year, I try to come up with new items to bring to a super bowl party but end up making my famous Bread Pudding. I’ve gotten many compliments on it and shared the recipe with many people.

This year, I wanted something different. Quick but fun, yummy but crowd-pleaser… short list of requirements. While thinking (hard), I ran into this awesome recipe from Kellog’s website – Chocolate Nutty Mini-Football Treats. Oh perfect. It was the first time for me to make Rice Krispie Treats. Mad Scientist was a little apprehensive because… who knew it comes out like a shape of football, and is it going to taste like the rice krispie treats he grew up with? Pressure was definitely on.

On another note, making was definitely fun. The only item I skipped was the peanut butter; knowing that there will be friends with nut allergies. And the photo is the outcome.
